About Adventure Inked

The Adventure Inked logo - the letters "AI" rising adventurously from the pages of a storybook.

Rob Bartel, a veteran storyteller and game designer (Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Dragon Age, and more), founded Adventure Inked in 2023. Intrigued by the emerging capabilities of AI models like ChatGPT, Rob began using these tools to surprise and delight himself with AI-generated stories. When OpenAI introduced Custom GPTs, he decided to launch Adventure Inked as a boutique game studio to share his strange little creations with the wider world.
